X Corp. accuses former subtenant for not paying rent

The complaint, filed by J. Jonathan Hawk of White & Case LLP, claims Atlas “failed to make any of the payments to X Corp. that it agreed to under the termination agreement, and has since refused to make any of those payments, despite X Corp.’s demands.”

X Corp. sued its former subtenant, Atlas Exploration Inc., claiming it breached its contract when it did not pay nearly $1.5 million in rent and fees after the sublease was terminated for the 13th floor of Twitter’s downtown San Francisco office building in October 2022.
