The U.S. Supreme Court denied former Donald Trump attorney John C. Eastman's bid to appeal a Santa Ana federal judge's ruling that his correspondence following the 2020 election likely aided a criminal agenda to overturn the results.
Justice Clarence Thomas, an appointee of President George H.W. Bush whose wife Eastman communicated with in the weeks following the election, did not participate in the decision.
