Briefs filed to 9th circuit on gun magazine law
Attorneys for Second Amendment proponents argued the law should be enjoined now, while the state says the arguments don’t address the standard governing stays pending appeal.
With just days to spare before California’s large capacity magazine law is wiped out by a district court injunction, attorneys for gun rights groups and the state attorney general’s office filed briefs with the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals debating whether the statute should be enjoined.
