X Corp says Wachtell believes it is ‘exempt from rules’
Musk’s attorneys — Adrian Sawyer of Sawyer & Labar LLP plus Marc Dworsky and William T. Reid IV of Reid Collins & Tsai LLP — said the Wachtell firm was working against his interests and should not get to keep the money they were paid for that. They oppose a motion to compel arbitration over $90 million in fees.





Attorneys for X Corp. fired back at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen, & Katz, telling a San Francisco judge that the firm believes it is “exempt from rules of professional conduct,” and is attacking the character of CEO Elon Musk in a dispute over $90 million in fees.
