Los Angeles jury must decide brothers’ sprawling real estate dispute
The case, which has taken 20 years to get to trial, involves the plaintiff’s alleged oral agreement with his four brothers to purchase properties in California.
A Los Angeles jury impaneled in a 20-year-old breach of contract case began hearing testimony Thursday on whether five brothers have a partnership in a massive real estate portfolio.
They will have to consider mountains of evidence and testimony from numerous witnesses to a family saga that started decades ago in India.
