Lawsuit is dropped after MoFo changes diversity fellowship

Perkins Coie removed from its website language about fellowships being offered to “historically underrepresented groups in the legal industry”, but has not settled the lawsuit.

It didn’t take long for two major law firms – including Morrison & Foerster LLP, based in San Francisco – to surrender to a conservative legal activist who led this year’s successful U.S. Supreme Court challenge to affirmative action in college admissions.
