San Francisco loses bid to move homeless case from judge who issued injunction
Jen Kwart, communications director for San Francisco City Attorney David Chiu, wrote: “We are disappointed with the Court’s ruling, but we will continue working to alleviate homelessness with the uneasy task of complying with two substantively related federal court orders.”





A federal judge in Oakland on Wednesday rejected the San Francisco city attorney’s office bid to relate two cases involving homelessness and to reassign a complaint by the Coalition on Homelessness that led to a preliminary injunction against the city by U.S. Magistrate Judge Donna M. Ryu.
