Google seeks 30-day deadline for PAGA plaintiff to sift data
“To avoid any confusion, Google is not requesting that plaintiff be ready to try her case in 30 days — it merely seeks to keep this case progressing at the pace plaintiff previously represented was possible,” Zachary P. Hutton of Paul Hastings LLP wrote for Google.
Google LLC asked a Santa Clara judge at a case management conference on Thursday to impose a 30-day deadline on the lead plaintiff in a Private Attorneys General Act lawsuit to sift almost five years worth of employee data to find evidence supporting the company’s claims that the company has been racially discriminating against employees.
