Museum wants college to take its Diego Rivera mural back

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art says the mural’s presence and the college’s inaction on removing under contract terms is impeding putting at risk the museum’s 2024 exhibition commitments.

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art sued the City College of San Francisco over the relocation of a Diego Rivera mural that has been at the museum since June 2021 and was to be moved back last month.
