Jury awards daughter $13.5M in LAPD wrongful death case

Jacobo Juarez Cedillo died in April 2019 after being restrained by officers pinning him to the ground with their own body weight for 4½ minutes.

A federal jury awarded $13.5 million to the daughter of a man who died while being pinned to the ground by two Los Angeles police officers in Van Nuys.
