Pence should have paused election certification, Eastman testifies
John Eastman testified at his State Bar trial that he advised the vice president to briefly delay certification to investigate what he called credible allegations of illegality from some 100 state legislators in a Jan. 4, 2021 meeting.




John C. Eastman, the former attorney for President Donald Trump, told Vice President Mike Pence it would be "foolish" to reject the results of the 2020 election, he testified at his ongoing state bar disciplinary proceedings on Tuesday.
