Newsom names 8 judges to 7 superior courts

Los Angeles, Nevada, San Bernardino, San Diego, Ventura and Yolo counties each got one; Orange County got 2.

Gov. Gavin Newsom on Wednesday named eight new superior court judges in seven counties.

  • Gary Rowe was appointed to the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Rowe has been an attorney in the civil rights section of the state Attorney General's Office since June. He was a deputy federal public defender in the Central District of California from 2014 to June. He was an associate at Greines, Martin, Stein and Richland LLP from 2011 to 2014.
