Judge reverses state’s 30-year ban on assault weapons
U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez of San Diego has issued several pro-gun rights decisions.
A federal judge in San Diego on Thursday overturned California’s three decade old ban on assault weapons. State Attorney General Rob Bonta immediately announced a notice of appeal.
