Ex-security chief says SonicWall fired him for noting vulnerability
The plaintiff, a 20-year employee, claims that he was fired on Aug. 2 after he opposed the company’s plan to release a flawed updated version of the operating system that it sells to companies to thwart cyberattacks by creating firewalls.




A former chief security officer for SonicWall, a cybersecurity company that reportedly generated over $480 million in revenue last year, accused the company of firing him in retaliation for whistle-blowing about security vulnerabilities in a new security product the company was launching.
