A cyberattack crippled the Orange County District Attorney’s Office information technology network on Friday, prompting the shutdown of the system, the office announced Monday.
Kimberly Edds, the spokesperson for the office, said in a statement the district attorney’s office “is coordinating efforts with the FBI and the U.S. attorney’s office to identify the perpetrators so they can be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
