Poultry processors allegedly created entities to hide child labor

The defendant says the other four poultry processing companies named in the Labor Department complaint were separate and fully responsible for the employees they hired.

A Los Angeles poultry processing plant created multiple entities to evade liability for possible child labor and wage violations, an attorney for the U.S. Department of Labor told a federal judge on Wednesday.
