Uniform bar exam life span extended to 2028

“We’ve seen so few questions, it is really not possible for us to make adjustments in order to adequately prepare our students,” said Mary Basick, a UC Irvine School of Law assistant dean of academic skill.

Instead of the uniform bar exam being replaced in July 2027, the full adoption of the substitute NextGen exam has been delayed by a year, the National Conference of Bar Examiners announced this week.
