San Diego jury hits Monsanto with $332M Roundup verdict

“We have a winning record in the Roundup litigation — having won nine of the last 12 cases at trial — and have resolved the majority of claims filed in this litigation,” a Monsanto spokesman said.

Attorneys with Kiesel Law LLP in Beverly Hills and Clark, Love & Hutson in Houston, Texas won a $332 million jury verdict Tuesday against the Monsanto Company in a lawsuit claiming that its Roundup herbicide contained cancer-causing carcinogens.

Monsanto said there are grounds for appeal of the “unconstitutionally excessive damage award.”
