Merchandiser sues Live Nation over deadly Astroworld Festival

In the complaint, Eisner LLP partner Ashlee N. Lin, claimed that the defendants’ failure to provide a safe environment to conduct business led to the festival’s cancellation, which prevented Ceremony of Roses from recouping its expenses and reaping “reasonably certain” profits.

A fashion and merchandising brand owned by Sony Music Entertainment has sued Live Nation and musician Travis Scott over the financial consequences of a fatal crowd stampede at the 2021 Astroworld Festival in Texas.
