Epic uses Google’s charts to argue app developers lost money using Google Pay

Showing the nine-member federal jury charts and graphs made by Google’s sales team, Epic’s attorney argued that despite having to pay Google up to 30% of the money they make from in-app purchases, on average only 10% of developers’ revenue was a result of the benefits Google provided.

SAN FRANCISCO — Day three of the trial of Epic Games’ antitrust trial against Google focused on the plaintiff’s argument that app developers overpaid in terms of net value to have their apps listed on the Google Play Store, and they had no choice.
