LA objects to skid row trust receiver’s accounts
“Mr. Adams included fees related to his interaction with the press that does not involve work done for the benefit of the Receivership Estate or the transition,” Deputy City Attorney Alia Haddad wrote in the city’s objections and response to Adams’ final account.

The city of Los Angeles and the former receiver of the Skid Row Housing Trust are working to settle more than $3 million in unpaid vendor invoices once they agree on the amount.
The former receiver, Mark Adams, says the outstanding balance is just over $3.8 million, according to filings in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. The city objects to some of those charges and says the correct balance is approximately $3.1 million.
