Carole E. Handler, an antitrust lawyer who handled a groundbreaking dispute over the intellectual property of some Marvel Enterprises characters, has died. She was 87.
Handler died Oct. 22 at the Northshore Heights Senior Living home in Knoxville, Tennessee, according to her daughter, Lisi Schoenbach.
