Sen. Laphonza Butler will keep Feinstein’s judge vetting committees

U.S. Sen. Laphonza Butler, California’s newest Democratic senator, will keep the volunteer committees that advised the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein on recommendations for judges and U.S. attorneys, a spokesman confirmed Thursday.
