Two insurance companies that paid claims to victims of the 2020 Mountain View Fire in Mono County sued an electric utility for repayment in a complaint filed in Los Angeles County
The complaint was filed on behalf of Amerind Risk Management and American Bankers Insurance Company by Christine L. Forsline of Berger Kahn. The fire was started by equipment owned and operated by Liberty Utilities (CalPeco Electric) LLC., the attorneys wrote.
