Despite antitrust win, Trendsettah gets less fees than loser

A California tobacco company was awarded $10.2 million in attorney fees, slightly less than the losing party, after nearly a decade of antitrust litigation with a rival manufacturer.
U.S. District Judge James V. Selna entered his judgment on Friday in favor of Trendsettah USA Inc. Its counsel at Gaw Poe LLP and Goldstein Russell & Woofter LLC had asked for $11.8 million in fees.
