Modern Healthcare seeks dismissal of co-founder’s suit
Erica Johnson, co-founder of Modern Health who was kicked off the board in October 2019, and her husband, an early investor, originally filed separate lawsuits accusing CEO Alyson Friedensohn of wrongful termination and routinely misrepresenting the plight of the company to investors.
Modern Healthcare Inc. and two executives asked a San Francisco judge on Friday to dismiss a wrongful termination lawsuit by the company’s co-founder and her husband, an early investor.
A separate lawsuit, now consolidated, was filed by shareholders for alleged breach of fiduciary duties, but was not the subject of the motion.
