Human composting will soon replace ashes to ashes, and dust to dust
Human composting reduces the environmental impact of death by saving land, fuel, and carbon dioxide emissions, and can also be used to fertilize plants.
Currently, the California Health and Safety Code provides two methods of disposition of deceased Californians. The California law covering disposition of the deceased is covered in the Cemetery and Funeral Act, as well as Health and Safety Code Sections §7300 - §7500 et seq.
