Edify sues co-founders for control of domain name and root user account

The company’s attorneys filed for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction, but the judge denied the application. The ex parte application was described as “the forensic equivalent of standing in a crowded theater and shouting, ‘Fire.’”

Edify, a Santa Monica cloud-based contact center and communications platform company, has sued its estranged co-founders for control and ownership of the company’s domain name and root user account, which controls the backbone of their services.
