
Retired Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Malcolm H. Mackey
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Malcolm H. Mackey, who retired in January after 45 years as a judge, died Monday from complications of pneumonia. He was 94.
“The law was everything to him,” his daughter, attorney Kristie Swartzon, said. “He was gregarious. He always said he never met a stranger because he would just talk to anyone. He was very outgoing.”
