Judge consolidates malpractice cases against Sutter Health

The two cases accuse Sutter Health and a subsidiary of misrepresenting the quality and safety of a midwifery program.

A San Francisco judge on Tuesday consolidated two medical malpractice lawsuits against Sutter Health Co. filed by an anonymous couple accusing the company of misrepresenting the quality and safety of its midwifery care programs and subjecting them to both physical and mental harm.
