Trump’s criminal case as the prosecution’s favorite trick
The prosecution uses Michael Cohen's conviction as indisputable evidence of Trump's crimes, preventing Trump from challenging it in his own trial. This violates Trump's constitutional rights to due process and the presumption of innocence. Trump can only be charged with a Class A misdemeanor, which has a statute of limitations of two years.
