Injunction issued against school district over ADA violations

The injunction will compel the school district to reassess the way its discipline policy deals with students with disabilities.

A federal judge granted a permanent injunction compelling the Moreno Valley Unified School District to address violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act brought about by its on-campus police program. The order follows a partial summary judgement against the school district issued last October.
