NFL says key hurdle remains unaddressed in antitrust verdict

Plaintiffs' counsel says they were simply acting in accordance with the judge's wishes when they filed a judgment motion, and that the court retains the power to decide how damages are distributed.

Attorneys representing the National Football League in its "Sunday Ticket" antitrust litigation said approval of the plaintiffs' proposed judgment endorsing a $4.7 billion jury verdict "makes no practical sense" at this stage of the case because the court has yet to establish a formula that would accurately disseminate the award to millions of nationwide class members
