US judge allows lawsuit against Build-A-Bear over Squishmallows

The case centers on allegations that Build-A-Bear's "Skoosherz" product line infringes on Kelly Toys' popular Squishmallows.

A federal judge ruled that a lawsuit accusing Build-A-Bear Workshop of infringing on the popular Squishmallows toy line can move forward.

The closely watched trade dress and copyright case in the Central District of California centers on allegations that Build-A-Bear's "Skoosherz" product line infringes on Kelly Toys' popular Squishmallows.
