California employers using tracking technology, including jigglers, face legal risks

Wells Fargo fired some employees for using mouse jigglers -- raising concern about employees’ privacy rights, especially when working from home. California is the only state that grants employees the same comprehensive privacy rights as consumers under state law, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives employees the right to know what personal information their employers are collecting from them.
