Judge overseeing Target stabbing case changes mind on access to retailer's security software

Target's attorneys raised security concerns after Judge Anne Hwang had tentatively ruled to compel the retailer to allow an inspection of software that tracks security incidents.

Attorneys continue to tussle over discovery for three lawsuits stemming from a stabbing attack at a Target store in downtown Los Angeles last year. In the most recent development, the retailer prevailed on arguments that allowing access to a key company database would present a security risk.
