Objectors say $2.8B NCAA NIL deal leaves some out

Attorneys for several former and current college athletes told U.S. District Judge Claudia A. Wilken in Oakland the proposed settlement would give female players less money and aims to sweep in too many different types of claims.

Despite striking a historic $2.8 billion deal that will see student-athletes share in the financial windfall generated by college sports, plaintiffs' attorneys and the NCAA can't seem to please everybody.
