Google has 'brain power' to redesign app store, judge says

Attorneys for Google, led by Munger Tolles & Olson LLP, unsuccessfully petitioned the court for a new trial and have maintained that the tech giant company fiercely competes with other app distributors, including Apple Inc.

The federal judge in San Francisco overseeing antitrust litigation between Fortnite maker Epic Games and Google LLC cast doubt Wednesday on the tech giant's timeline to redesign its app store during a multiple-expert hearing, insisting that Google could work faster than it suggested.
