Woman who lost nearly $5M in crypto app scam blames Google's advertising

Lawyers claim Google damages Play Store customers by building its marketing campaign on false and misleading representations about the store's safety.

Google LLC is accused of allowing scammers and cyber-criminals to steal nearly $5 million worth of cryptocurrency from an Android smartphone user who claims the company falsely advertised the safety of apps available on its Play Store.
