Legal challenges persist as Corporate Transparency Act takes effect
The Corporate Transparency Act, which aims to protect the U.S. financial system from illicit use and prevent financial crimes, has faced legal challenges since its enactment in 2021. Six cases are currently pending in the federal court system challenging its constitutionality.
