Environmental groups sue over logging project's impact on endangered owls

The lawsuit challenges federal agencies' approval of the South Fork Sacramento Public Safety and Forest Restoration Project on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.

Several environmental organizations sued the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and U.S. Forest Service over a logging project they say threatens the endangered Northern Spotted Owl in Northern California.
