From Insecure law student to leader, Nadira Imam says she's testament to the power of bar organizations

Ten years ago, Nadira Imam attended an event hosted by the Beverly Hills Bar Association as a first-year law student unsure what kind of law she wanted to practice, and deeply insecure about her place in the legal profession. On Saturday night, Imam, now in a successful business and real estate practice at the Law Offices of Lawrence H. Jacobson, will be sworn in as president of the organization at a gala at the Skirball Cultural Center.
