The Los Angeles County Superior Court launched an initiative to make better leaders of its judicial officers.
The goal is to empower judges to make decisions in their day-to-day work that advance the good of the court. The coaching of the academy involves exercises with "very provocative hypotheticals" that all judges could face, with discussion thereafter as to how one might handle the situation, Judge Lawrence P.
