Gun rights groups seek en banc review on 'sensitive places' firearm limits
C.D. "Chuck" Michel, a senior partner at Michel & Associates PC, argued in a motion that a 9th Circuit panel defied a key 2022 U.S. Supreme Court ruling by relying on two "historical outliers" to justify upholding most provisions of California's law limiting where people can carry firearms. Hawaii plaintiffs have made a similar argument over their state law.
