$31M settlement reached for football player injured at Corona del Mar High School

Attorneys representing Emanuel "Manny" Garcia argued that the school district had received multiple warnings over the years about the dangerous conditions of its natural turf fields.

An Orange County high school agreed to pay $31 million to settle claims brought by a former high school football player who suffered a traumatic brain injury during practice, his attorneys from Panish Shea Ravipudi LLP announced Tuesday.
