A recent complaint in Los Angeles County Superior Court alleges that women's Carefree brand panty liners contain "forever chemicals," which can enter the user's bloodstream and cause cancer.
The lawsuit alleges violation of California's Proposition 65, which requires businesses to warn consumers if a product contains cancer-causing chemicals such as Perfluorooctanoic acid.
