Emergency stay application against gun show law to be refiled

C.D. "Chuck" Michel, senior partner at Michel & Associates PC who represents B&L Productions Inc., which has operated gun shows at Del Mar Fairgrounds and the Orange County Fair and Event Center, said he will try again with another justice after Justice Elena Kagan rejected his application.

An attorney for a gun show promoter said Friday he will refile an emergency application to stay a 9th U.S. Circuit Court ruling upholding state laws that ban the sale of guns, ammunition, and precursor parts at events on state-owned property.
