SF reverses course on move to disqualify former city attorney from case

During a case management conference Thursday, two deputy city attorneys for San Francisco changed their position that the presence of Mark L. Mosley in the litigation created a conflict due to his previous role.

Counsel for the City and County of San Francisco decided not to try to disqualify a former deputy city attorney who they had said represented the city in disputes related to an ongoing inverse condemnation lawsuit where he now represents the plaintiffs.

San Francisco is accused of failing to maintain a drainage ditch that flooded four homes in December 2022, but says the ditch was to be maintained by one of the property owners.
