Los Angeles Police Department officers who were investigated for alleged theft after buying firearms from a private dealer demanded a new trial this week after a judge granted summary judgment for the city.
The officers claim the city didn't provide enough evidence to disassociate itself from the Los Angeles Police Revolver and Athletic Club (LAPRAAC), a widely used equipment supplier with a prominent presence at police facilities.
