X user terms to require disputes be filed in Northern Texas

Having moved X headquarters from San Francisco, the company's new user terms require all disputes to be filed in the Northern District of Texas. Some observers raised questions about why the terms don't specify the Western District of Texas, where X is now based.

Users of X who might bring claims against Elon Musk's social media company will have to file lawsuits in one federal district in Texas or state courts in one county, according to new terms that go into effect Nov. 15, raising concerns of "judge shopping" among some legal observers.
